Being a hiker, runner, and natural explorer, I am constantly "passing through" different landscapes and shifting through the world around. Most moments pass quickly and some imprint in me, lasting longer. This painting was done in appreciation of traveling to the wind river range in Wyoming. This was a moment that I wanted to stay with, observe, and take in. It was a moment I later wanted to recreate to share with others.
